What things do you expect from my company to complete website design?

How long does it take?
A standard website package like a 'budget pack' or 'prestige pack' can generally be completed within 7 days.

Completion time varies due to a number of factors:

• Efficiency of client providing the website content and also providing feedback during the progression of development.
• Number of pages on the website
• Programming
• Level of graphic design involved

What are the payment plans?
For jobs with a quote of under AU$1000, 40% of the payment is required up front with a signed contract for beginning work, with the remaining 60% due upon completion of the project.  For jobs with a quote of over AU$1000, 30% of the payment is required along with a signed contract for beginning work, 30% is required halfway through the project with the remaining 40% due upon completion of the project.

What is a domain name?
A domain name is a specific website address that you choose and register.  For example our domain name is visionwebsites.com.au.

What is web hosting?
Web hosting is a monthly fee that you pay to have your site physically stored on a web server which makes your site accessible on the Internet.  We can take care of this for you or alternatively you can do this yourself.

Can I view my website as it is in progress?
Yes, we will provide you with a website address and at the end of each business day you will be able to view the most up to date version of your website.

If I already have a site can you help me improve it?
Yes.  We can usually redesign or freshen up an existing site quicker, and for less money than building one from scratch.  Whether your company's website doesn't look professional, takes too long to load, doesn't rank well on search engines or the navigation is baffling to visitors, we can help.

Do I need to hire a local website design company?
We create web sites for clients who are local as well as out of state.  By using the Internet, email and the telephone, it is easy to communicate effectively with clients in any location.

Can I use my own web hosting?
Yes.  However, if you would like to use your own web hosting for our 'Budget Pack' or 'Prestige Pack' there is a fee.

Why can't I find my web site in the search engines?
Once your site has been submitted to the top Search Engines they may require several weeks, or even months to actually spider and list your web site in their directory.  How fast your site is listed depends on each individual Search Engines database update schedule.

What things do you expect from my company to complete website design?
Brochures, logos, photographs, product descriptions, business cards etc are all recommended resources to use.  For new businesses we will help you get started from scratch.  A dedicated person will answer any questions during your website project.
